NIS America brought deceptively cute horror game Yomawari: Night Alone to the west last October, and now Nippon Ichi Software is cooking up a sequel. The latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation magazine includes the reveal of Shin Yomawari, which is coming to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan on August 24.
Shin Yomawari will continue the basic concept of the first game, in which players carefully make their way through town, lighting up the environment and exploring with the help of a flashlight. Monsters lurk around every corner, though, and Poro's heartbeat is the only way to tell when they're close.
According to the announcement, the world of Shin Yomawari will be twice as large as the first.
