The sins of the father are passed down to the son in Ultraman Geed, the latest entry in Tsuburaya Productions' long-running "Ultra" series of tokusatsu action TV shows.
In Ultraman Geed, Rika Asakura (played by Tatsuomi Hamada) gains the ability to transform into the superhero Ultraman Geed through the use of the Geed Riser and the Ultra Capsule. However, Rika soon discovers that he is not an ordinary human teenager, but rather the offspring of the villainous Ultraman Belial, an evil Ultraman who is bent on galactic conquest.
Ultraman Geed is directed by Koichi Sakamoto and features series composition by Otsuichi. The series debuts on TV Tokyo on July 08, 2017.
