Crunchyroll Expands Otaku Horizons with "Japa Con Presents: Agent HaZAP" Program

Crunchyroll began presenting and streaming a brand new program this week. In a partnership with Fuji TV, Japa Con Presents: Agent HaZAP presents stories, personalities, and opinions from otaku around the world. Joining in on the endeavor are Crunchyroll hosts Victoria Holden, Reina Scully, and Tiffany Suzuki, who serve as agents expanding otaku horizons under the leadership of Commander Yoshida. 

 

Over the course of the series the team will cover everything from Tokyo attractions like Anime Japan and Kawaii Monster Cafe to events in the US like the top anime conventions and Crunchyroll's Anime Movie Night. 

 

The first episode is now live, and new episodes will air every two weeks. Japa Con Presents: Agent HaZAP is available to Crunchyroll members in the United States, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Central and South America including the Caribbean, and Europe (excluding Russia).

 

 

Synopsis:

 Japa Con Presents: Agent HaZAP" is a program that introduces the latest content from Japan that's earned attention around the world, with the theme of "expanding the habitable zone of otakus." In addition to BS Fuji, the program will be promoted worldwide through cooperation with Crunchyroll. "HaZAP" stands for "Habitable Zone Augmentation Project.
