"Cute High Earth Defense Club" OVA to Get Theatrical Screenings from August 26

Fans will have an opportunity to see the brand new episode on the big screen before the disc release. The official website for the Cute High Earth Defense Club anime franchise announced today that its upcoming OVA "LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!" will be screened in eight selected theaters from August 26 for a limited time of three weeks. The site's top page is also updated with a new main visual for the OVA.

 

The OVA project was officially announced in the "Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! LOVE! ALL STAR!" event at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo on March 18. A DVD/Blu-ray disc including the event is also confirmed to be released on August 18. Its first limited edition comes with a newly drawn package, six illustration cards featured in the event, and a full-color booklet. The price for the DVD is 5,400 yen and that for the Blu-ray is 6,480 yen.  

 

The first season of the TV anime was aired for 12 episodes from January to March 2015, then the second

season followed with another 12 episodes from July to September 2016. Both seasons are now available

for Crunchyroll members worldwide excluding Asia.
