"Nanamaru Sanbatsu" Chimes In With New Visual and Cast Members

Nanamaru Sanbatsu, an upcoming TV anime based on the competitive quiz manga by Iqura Sugimoto, has revealed a new key visual (below) and three new cast members.

The new cast members announced include:

Tasuku Hatanaka as Daisuke Inoue, a 1st year high school student with no experience with quiz games but an enormous knowledge of otaku-related subjects.

Matsuda Satsumi as Jinko Sasajima, a 1st year student with a strong mastery of Kyoto dialect. A self-proclaimed "1 person light electronics club", Jinko uses her knowledge of electronics to help with button-pressing as part of the quiz club.

And Takuma Nagatsuka as Akira Sonohara, a capable young man with a sharp but moody attitude who is also skilled at fighting games. Akira takes an interest in quizes after running into Shiki in an Akihabara game center.

The original Nanamaru Sanbatsu manga is serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's Young Ace seinen manga magazine. The Nanamaru Sanbatsu TV anime is directed by Masaki Ōzora and features animation by TMS Entertainment. The story follows Shiki Koshiyama, a shy and bookish freshman who gets caught up in the fiercely competitive world of quiz contests, where players must answer 7 questions correctly without first getting 3 questions wrong.

Nanamaru Sanbatsu will broadcast on Nippon TV and other stations beginning in July of 2017.
