"Kemono Friends" All-Episode Screening Event will be Live-Viewed in Theaters across Japan

Live Viewing Japan today announced that Nico Nico Live's upcoming all-episode streaming program of the Kemono Friends TV anime on May 26 will be screened in 33 theaters across Japan simultaneously. An 11-episode live streaming on the service on March 25, four days before the final 12th episode was aired in Japan, drew a massive 2.7 million comments from 300,000 viewers, becoming the most commented anime program on the live-streaming service's history. 

 

Eight members of Doubutsu Biscuits and PPP (PePaPu), except Mikoi Sasaki (Royal Penguin) of PPP, are confirmed to join the Shinjuku Wald 9 screening in Tokyo for a special stage. The stage, which is expected to include their talk show or song performances, will be live-viewed only in other theaters and not be shown to the Nico Nico Live viewers.

 

The screening is scheduled to begin at 21:00 on May 26 and end around at 27:30. The price for the ticket

for the Shinjuku screening is 4,000 yen, while that for other theaters is 3,000 yen. Pre-orders will begin at

12:00 pm on April 29, then general sale will follow on May 16.
