Kadokawa's official anime YouTube channel has posted a 80-second short version music video for 20-year-old anison singer Konomi Suzuki's 13th single "Blow out," which is now used as the OP theme song for the TV anime adaptation of Taro Hitsuji's school fantasy light novel series Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor that premiered in Japan on April 4.
Suzuki was the Grand Prix winner in the 5th All Japan Anison Grand Prix Final in 2011, and made her professional singer debut from Media Factory in April 2012 with her 1st major single "CHOIR JAIL" (TV anime Dusk maiden of Amnesia OP song). Her top-ranking single was "This game" (No Game No Life OP), her 6th single released in May 2014 and ranked 13th in the Oricon weekly single chart. Her 13th single "Blow out" will be released in two editions on May 24.
