Japanese Fans Rate the Best of Late-Night Anime

Anime is shown 'round the clock in Japan. And regardless of the popularity of its source material, some shows get relegated to the wee hours. It could be because of "objectionable" content, or simply because certain shows are a little trickier to justify in prime-time spots.

So which recent late-night shows are the best, according to fans? Goo Ranking asked their readers to rank the best of this winter season's late night offerings. (Note: these are only shows that fit into a half hour or less time slot.)

Here are the top ten results:

10. Kemono Friends

9. Interviews with Monster Girls

8. Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid

7. Saga of Tanya the Evil

6. Scum's Wish

5. Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga

4. Yowamushi Pedal New Generation

3. KONOSUBA - God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!

2. Minami Kamakura High School Girls Cycling Club

1. Gintama

Runners-up included Chain Chronicle ~The Light of Haecceitas~, Hand Shakers, and ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. You can see the complete results on the Goo website.
