Konbini Kareshi ("Convenience Store Boyfriends"), a mixed media project by Kadokawa and Lawson about handsome young men who gather at a local convenience stores, is being adapted into a TV anime that will debut on the Tokyo Broadcasting System and BS-TBS networks in July of 2017.

The Konbini Kareshi mixed media project began in 2015 with a series of "mooks" (a format combining attributes of magazines and books) and audio drama CDs that were published by Kadokawa under their Enterbrain label. The original cast of the audio dramas includes Takuma Terashima, Kenichi Suzumura, Shinnosuke Tachibana, Yūki Kaji, Hiroshi Kamiya, and Takahiro Sakurai. Whether or not these voice actors will reprise their roles for the Konbini Kareshi TV anime has not yet been announced.
