Funimation Brings New "Eureka Seven" Film Trilogy to U.S. Theaters

 

Announced at the Anime Boston 2017 convention on April 02, 2017, the Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution anime film trilogy will be released not only in theaters in Japan but also at select venues worldwide, and the U.S. distribution of the film will be handled by Funimation.

 

 

The first film in the trilogy will be released in the Fall season of 2017 in Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and other countries. The second and third films will follow in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

 

 

The Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution trilogy is directed by Tomoaki Kyoda and Hisatoshi Shimizu and features animation by BONES. The films feature new animation and will depict the "First Summer of Love" incident, which occured 10 years before the events of the 2005 - 2006 Eureka Seven TV anime.
