Happy first anniversary, Kantai Collection! It’s hard to believe, because it feels the bishoujo historic warship phenomenon should be at least seven in otaku years, but the original, free-to-play browser game launched April 23, 2013. To celebrate, after lots of Twitter teasing, the game has rolled out its spring update with a two week “Recon planes, launching!” event and the introduction of new fleet girls!
