The official Twitter account for the upcoming TV anime Akuma no Riddle today reveals that 24-year-old voice actress Maaya Uchida will make her solo singer debut with the OP theme song for the anime. The TV anime adaptation of a school manga by Yun Kouga (story) and Sunao Minakata (art) will be premiere in spring 2014.
Maaya Uchida made her anime voice actress debut in the 2010 OVA Boku, Otary-man, and is best known as the voice of Rikka Takanashi in Chunibyo Demo Koi ga Shitai!. She has performed many character songs for various anime/game series including Chunibyo, Ai Mai Mi, GJ Club, Vividred Operation, and The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls, but the Akuma no Riddle OP will be her debut song as a solo singer herself. Her official Twitter account, which is launched today, says the single will be released on April 23.
