Francesca is a local moe idol character created by HeARTBIT, a Hokkaido-based mobile contents company, in late 2012. The undead girl has collaborated with several local companies/stores in the region (including a taxi company reported in the bottom of this article), and was even chosen as the official PR character of Hokkaido's Ishikari Subprefecture this month.
The company has announced they will cast popular voice actresses Yui Makino (Sakura in Tsubasa Chronicle) as Francesca and Asami Tano (Akane Hino/Cure Sunny in Smile PreCure!) as Exorcist in the forthcoming TV anime series which is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2014. The two have been voicing the characters for the narrations in the events and image songs.
