It's Thursday, which means alt-audience anime block noitaminA has run its latest on Fuji TV. Looking past this season's Silver Spoon and Samurai Flamenco, towards springs adaptations of Kazuma Ōtorino and Akaringo's Ryūgajō Nanana no Maizōkin (Nanana's Buried Treasure) and Taiyo Matsumoto's Ping Pong, a new promo for the former aired along with an update to the series' site.
Kana Asumi, Kana Hanazawa, and Kazuyuki Okitsu join as support characters in the adaptation of a light novel series about buried treasure of a beautiful NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) ghost girl named Nanana Ryugajo (voiced by Rui Tanabe). A second grade high school boy Jugo Yama (voiced by Yuuki Ono) finds the ghost haunting his cheap apartment after he's forced to transfer to a school on an artificial island known as "Special Student Zone."
The TV anime is produced by A-1 Pictures (Anohana, Black Butler, THE IDOLM@STER) and directed by Kanta Kamei (Usagi Drop). Hideyuki Kurata (Kamichu!, Samurai Flamenco) works on series composition and Tetsuya Kawakami (Shigofumi: Letters from the Departed, Robot Girls Z) designs the anime characters.
