As you know, March 9 is Hatsune Miku's day in Japan, since we can pun on "mi" for 3 and "ku" for 9 in Japanese. As part of the celebration for the day, Tsutaya, one of the largest Japanese video rental/bookstore chains, will release fashionable earphones named "mikuzip♪" designed after Miku. The Miku earphones is based on ALPEX's popular earphone bland "muzip." The package is newly illustrated by CHAN×CO, who is known for Paipan-P's vocaloid song videos such as "Pair & Young Davah" (2008) and "VocaRan Sagi" (2009). The price for the Miku earphones is 1,696 yen (about US$16.53). It will be available only at the selected Tsutaya stores across Japan.
