"Yuri!!! On Ice" Shows Some Global Goofiness with International Skating Union World Team Trophy

The ISU World Team Trophy has been running every other year in Tokyo since 2009 (there was a 2012 and 2013 after 2011 was cancelled due to the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami), and sees participating countries such as Russia, the United States, Japan, Canada, France and China send two men, two ladies, one pair and one ice dancing entry for figure skating competition. Running April 20-23 at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium, this year's event is featuring a Yuri!!! On Ice collaboration with sales of goods kits showcasing a visual with the anime's skaters having a bit too much fun.
