Viz Announces Slate Of Licenses With Nisio Isin, Additional "Tokyo Ghoul" And More

Viz has a slate of new licenses joining the publisher's line-up to announce at this weekend's Anime Boston event. In addition to more Tokyo Ghoul, this included Nisio Isin's Jūni Taisen and Abi Umeda's Children of the Whales, inspirations for upcoming anime.

 

Jūni taisen, a 2015 light novel series from Nisio Isin and Hikaru Nakamura, an anime of which is planned for this year

Children of the Whales, aka Kujira no Kora wa Sajou ni Utau, a 2013 nine-volume ongoing from Mystery Bonita, nominated for a Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize. a TV anime is planned for fall

SP Baby, by Maki Enjouji, a 2014 two-volume series from  Petit Comic

 

 

The Emperor and I/Emperor to Issho. a 2015 three-volume ongoing from the Jump+ digital platform

 

ēlDLIVE, a 2013 seven-volume ongoing by Reborn!'s Akira Amano from Jump Live, then Jump Plus
