Manga artist and master troll Bkub Okawa is about to conquer the world of anime when Pop Team Epic, his bizarre web manga with a massive fan following. To warm us all up, Shinjuku Marui Annex will be hosting the Pop Team Epic Pop-Up Shop, a one-stop store for series merch.
A similar event took place last December at the same shop, and mini-shops in Tokyo, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Osaka were all extremely successful. The success of the experiences throughout Japan shows that the little manga is growing in popularity. This new shop will include exclusive goods sold at the previous events, as well as more items featuring brand new art.
There will also be photo spots, special bonuses for shoppers, a "Draw Your Own Pop Team Epic Character" booth, and more for fans of the series to enjoy.
The Pop Team Epic Pop-Up Shop runs from April 29 to May 14. The anime adaptation of the manga begins airing in November of this year.
