"NieR: Automata" DLC Pits Players Against Square Enix and PlatinumGames CEOs

Man, Square Enix president and CEO Yosuke Matsuda sure does love beating up players. Not only did he appear as a boss in Final Fantasy XV's Mystery Disc demo, but he's now preparing to do the same in NieR: Automata's "3C3C1D119440927" DLC. Matsuda will be available to fight in the colosseum along with PlatinumGames president and CEO Kenichi Sato, and you can see the intense battle below.

Heads up, you may just want to watch a bit unless you want to spoil the whole fight:

The "3C3C1D119440927" DLC will be available in Japan on May 2, and it's "coming soon" to North America and Europe. In addition to the new colosseum challenges, the ¥1,500 (about $14) set includes three costumes from NieR: Replicant, new equipment and accessories, and more.

Here's a peek at the costumes, which include 2B's "Revealing Outfit," 9S's "Young Man's Outfit," and A2's "Destroyer Outfit."
