Puzzle-solving enthusiasts will soon have a chance at playing hero, because a real escape game inspired by My Hero Academia is coming soon to venues in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya.
The scenario is entitled "Heroes Deadend Program", and the players form groups of up to 4 people and take the role of ordinary high school students enrolled at U.A. High. Together with the hero, business, and support divisions, the students are participating in a training exercise when villains attack. The players must survive for 60 minutes by solving puzzles and matching "Quirks" in order to unravel the villains schemes before All Might arrives to save the day.
"Heroes Deadend Program" lasts approximately 120 minutes in total, including an introductory video package. The Tokyo performances will be held at the HULIC HALL & CONFERENCE venue on 2:00PM JST and 5:00 PM JST on Saturday, July 29, 2017, and on 10:30 AM JST, 12:30PM JST, and 2:30 PM JST on Sunday, July 30, 2017.
Tickets go on sale on April 22, 2017, and cost 3300 yen ($30.42 US) including tax for advance tickets and 3800 yen ($35.03 US) including tax at the door. Advanced group tickets (for 4 people) are also available for 12,800 yen ($118.00 US) including tax.
Information about the Osaka and Nagoya performances for "Heroes Deadend Program" will be released at a later date.
