"March Comes in Like a Lion" Live-Action Film 2nd Part Full Trailer Shows More Emotional Scenes

Following the release of the first part, the official website for the two-part live-action film adaptation of Chika Umino's Sangatsu no Lion/March Comes in Like a Lion shogi-themed manga today posted a 90-second full trailer for its upcoming second part to be released on April 22. The theme song "Haru no Uta" (The Spring Song) featured in the clip and sung by 21-year-old singer-songwriter Sakura Fujiwara is a cover version of four-member Japanese rock band Spitz's 30th single song released in April 2005.

The first part was released in 293 theaters across Japan on March 18, ranking 7th in its first weekend box office, then quickly dropped out of the top 10 in its second weekend of March 25-26.
