"KING OF PRISM -PRIDE the HERO-" Film Full Trailer Introduces New Boy Idol Characters

Following the teaser posted in January, the official website for KING OF PRISM -PRIDE the HERO-, the second film from the KING OF PRISM anime franchise, today released a 90-second full trailer featuring a new song "Vivi℃ Heart Session!" performed by Edel Rose Freshers. In addition to the three members of Over The Rainbow and other regular characters of the series, the clip also introduces new characters for the film, including George Takadanobaba voiced by Tomokazu Sugita, a member of idol unit The Shuffle! that belongs to Schwarz Rose and is called "The Greatest Idol."  

  

Over The Rainbow first appeared in Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live, the third Pretty Rhythm TV anime aired in Japan from April 2013 to March 2014. The 59-minute first film KING OF PRISM by Pretty Rhythm was released in January 2016 and reportedly earned over 800 million yen from its domestic run. 

  

KING OF PRISM -PRIDE the HERO- is set for a release in 83 theaters across Japan on June 10.

A 600-yen small size (420mm x 294mm) of Taiga Kagami's "Wasshoi Shuraba Uchiwa," which is used

by him in the trailer, will go on sale at the theaters from April 26.
