That less-than-subtle hint proved true. Funimation has licensed Hyouka, the 2012 Kyoto Animation produced TV anime adaptation of Honobu Yonezawa's school mystery novel. And, they have a home-video release planned.
Hyouka follows the mystery solving efforts of Kamiyama High School's Classic Literature Club, focused on Hōtarō Oreki, a keenly deductive boy who aims to pragmatically avoid wasting energy and the intensely curious girl Eru Chitanda.
