Shiraito Shuzo, purveyors of fine anime- and game-themed sake, are bringing one out of the vaults for its fans. Lovers of the classic series Armored Trooper VOTOMS now have another chance to pick up their special sake brewed in honor of the show, affectionally named "Saitei Yarou":
Originally released in March 2013 for an exhibition of the works of mechanical designer Kunio Okawara, this sake quickly became a fan favorite. April 9 saw the renewal of the brand at Shiraito Shuzo's "New Sake Presentation Event," attended by VOTOMS creator Ryousuke Takahashi.
"Saitei Yarou" is a junmai ginjo sake, and will run 1,860 yen tax included (about $17.12) for a 300 ml bottle. More information is available on the official website.
Shiraito Shuzo has been brewing sake since the 18th century, and now releases a variety of products themed to Naruto, Touken Ranbu, Attack on Titan, and beyond.
