The official movie poster and a teaser trailer have been released for Outrage: 0 Coda (known in Japan as Outrage Saishudo), the third and final film in Takeshi Kitano's hard-boiled trilogy about an old-fashioned yakuza foot soldier struggling to survive in a modern world beset by constant betrayal.
In Outrage: 0 Coda, Kitano plays Otomo, an enforcer for the formerly powerful Sanno-kai crime family. After numerous upheavals and a bloody conflict with the rival Hannabishi-kai syndicate, Otomo has taken up residence in South Korea, but when the Hannabishi-kai starts a turf war in his new home, Otomo returns to Japan to seek vengeance.
Outrage: 0 Coda is written and directed by Takeshi Kitano and also stars Toshiyuki Nishida, Nao Omori, Pierre Taki, and Ren Osugi. The film hits theaters in Japan on October 07, 2017.
