Fujoshi rejoice! A TV anime adaptation has been announced for Hitorjime My Hero, a boys' love manga by Memeco Arii. Aside from the teaser visual above and the preview video below, details on the production (such as the cast and crew) are currently scarce. It is known that the series will broadcast in Japan beginning in July of 2017.
An official website and Twitter feed (@myhero_pr) have also been published for Hitorijime My Hero.
The original Hitorjime My Hero is serialized in Ichijinsha's gateau manga magazine. The series is a spin-off of Memeco Arii's earlier manga, Hitorijime Boyfriend, and focuses on the growing bonds between Masahiro Setagawa, an incompetent delinquent, and Kōsuke Ōshiba, a high school teacher who is bad at math but good at fighting.
