Ever wonder what it would be like to be in the middle of a Titan attack? Konica Minolta Planetarium at Tokyo Skytree Town is making it possible, thanks to their new feature titled Attack on Titan in the Dome -Soldiers' Starry Sky-.
The 20-minute presentation, which premieres next month and runs until October, will use the planetarium's domed screen to place viewers inside a 360-degree "wall," inside which they can view not only the stars above the city, but also the looming shapes of Titans as they advance. Special effects will also ensure that visitors feel and hear the massive creatures.
The terrifying presentation is backed by a highly realistic night sky, with the theme of the mini-story being finding an answer to one question: "Why do we fight?"
Attendees of weekday shows will also be able to use their smartphones to engage even further, as they chat with Eren, Levi, and Armin to solve a mystery hidden under the surface of the show. Those who succeed in solving the mystery will get a limited-edition sticker.
More information will become available on the event's official site as time goes on. Note that, due to the graphic nature of some of the visuals, parental guidance is suggested for viewers of grade school age and under.
Attack on Titan in the Dome -Soldiers' Starry Sky- will run from May 20 to October 1.
