Only three months after their 8th single “LUCKY DUCKY!!,” which was put on sale in Japan last week, popular voice actress idol unit YuiKaori will release their 9th single “Intro Situation” on July 2. It will be their first summer-themed pop song. It is composed by Syunryu, who previously worked on their 1st single “Our Steady Boy” (May 2010), 3rd single “HEARTBEAT ga Tomaranai!” (November 2010), and 4th single “Shooting☆Smile” (April 2011).
YuiKaori was formed in 2009 by 18-year-old Yui Ogura and 20-year-old Kaori Ishihara. Ogura is best known for her role as Hinata Hakamada in Ro-Kyu-Bu!, and Ishihara is for Aladdin in Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic. So far they have released 8 singles and 2 original albums. Their latest/2nd album “Bunny” was released on October 23, 2013 and took a very good 15th place in the Oricon weekly album ranking in its first week. Check their recent PVs below.
