Considering the history of Dragon Ball hoaxes, the timing isn't great, but Viz's digital Weekly Shonen Jump has announced that a special back story chapter will be included in the next issue on April 7th.
This looks like its likely to be Dragon Ball Minus, the bonus from the collection of Dragon Ball author's Akira Toriyama's recent, tangentially Dragon Ball related Jaco the Galactic Patrolman. That story is set to cover Goku’s life before heading to Earth along with introducing his mother, Gine.
