Viz has announced that Daisuke Ashihara's World Trigger manga, which has been running in their digital Weekly Shonen Jump, will be collected in print editions this fall.
The first two volumes will launch on October 7th simultaneously in print, and digitally via the VIZ Manga platform and through the storefronts for the Nook, Kobo, Kindle, Google Play and iBooks.
They describe the series' premise:
Teenage geek Osamu may not be the best of the elite warriors protecting Earth from the invincible Neighbors, but he'll do whatever it takes to defend it from the monsters pouring through the mysterious inter dimensional portal! Together with his peculiar Neighbor friend Yuma, they'll use other-dimensional technology to take on the alien invaders!
