VIDEO: Tokyo International Airport to Host Two-Day Anime Music Festival in March 2015

It is officially announced that in commemoration of the one-year anniversary of its increase in international flights, Tokyo International Airport (also known as Haneda Airport) will host a two-day event named "Haneda International Anime Music Festival" in its International Terminal on March 28 and 29, 2015. Japanese rock band Loverin Tamburin, who performed "Aishitageru" (the 2006 TV anime Makai Senki Disgaea OP) and "Mo・o!" (the 2007 TV anime Nanatsuiro Drops ED), will play the host of the event.


 


Haneda International Anime Music Festival will collaborate with the organizers of 10 famous anime/music events all over the world including Youmacon and Anime Weekend Atlanta in the US, Salon Del Manga in Spain, Manga Expo Tanger in Morocco, Polymanga in Switzerland, Rock My Geek in France, Smash! in Australia, and Comic Festa in Malaysia. Each event will hold an audition to chose


artists to perform in the festival to represent their regions. It is also planning to have cosplay photo


sessions using the facilities in the airport. Watch the organizers' message videos with English
