Mainichi Shimbun’s official YouTube channel MaiDiGi TV has posted a new three-minute promotional video for the on-going TV anime Nisekoi. In addition to the first OP song “CLICK,” it features “STEP,” the second OP song by the same duo artists ClariS. The PV also introduces a new character Marika Tachibana (CV: Kana Asumi), the protagonist boy Raku Ichijo’s fiancée and the third girl who has a mysterious key as well as Chitoge Kirisaki and Kosaki Onodera.
According to the ClariS staff’s official Twitter comment, the anime will start using the new OP song in the 14th episode today on April 12. The 1st OP “CLICK” was released on January 29, 2014, as their 9th single and took a very good seventh place in the Oricon weekly single ranking. The “STEP” CD single will be available on April 16 in three editions: the CD&DVD first limited edition, CD&DVD limited-time anime jacket edition, and CD-only regular edition.
