If you’re a fan of Dark Cloud then you’ll probably be happy to hear that Sony are keeping the dream of a sequel (or remake) alive.
A trademark for Dark Chronicle was filed on March 27th, but has only just been published. The trademark had expired last year in July, but it looks like Sony have renewed their plans. Just to avoid any confusion, Dark Chronicle is actually Dark Cloud 2; they just have different names depending on the location.
Of course, we can never be certain that anything will materialise from this, but hopefully it does.
