"Love Live!" Franchise Has Shipped One Million Music CD/DVD/Blu-ray

The CD single for "Sore wa Bokutachi no Kiseki," the OP song for the on-going second season of the Love Live! School Idol Project TV anime, was released in Japan yesterday on April 23. On the same day, the official Titter account for the franchise revealed that the total number of shipment for Love Live!-related music CD, DVD, and Blu-ray (anime episodes DVD/Blu-rays are not included) has reached one million as of the release.


 


The first single CD of the franchise, "Bokura no Live Kimi to no Life" by μ's was released in Japan on August 25, 2010. Since then, at least 22 singles, 3 original albums, 3 radio CDs, and 2 live DVD/Blu-rays have been available. The next product is "Donnatoki mo Zutto" (Anytime forever), the ED song for the anime second season, coming on May 8.
