Kaori Shows Her Tearful Smile for "One Week Friends" ED Song CD Jacket

The jacket illustrations for "Kanade," the ED song for the ongoing TV anime One Week Friends is revealed today on April 15. It features the main heroine Kaori Fujimiya smiling with tears in her eyes in the sunset light. On the back cover, the male protagonist Yuuki Hase also shows his smile..., probably at her.

The ED song is a cover of popular Japanese duo Sukima Switch's 2nd single released in March 2004, and sung by the voice actress Sora Amamiya as Kaori. Kaori is Amamiya's first main heroine role in her two years career. "Kanade" means melody or beautiful sound in Japanese. The CD single of the song is scheduled to be released in Japan on May 21, the same day with the OP song "Niji no Kakera" (A piece of the rainbow) by Natsumi Kon.

One Week Friends is now available to Crunchyroll’s audience in the USA and Canada.
