The PC version of Dark Souls II will unlock on Steam today, Bandai Namco has announced.
The unlock time will be April 24 at 15:00 PDT, 18:00 EDT, 23:00 BST, or whatever corresponding time that is in your local region. The game is due to go on sale worldwide tomorrow, except for the UK where physical copies have been delayed for an additional week.
The PC version of Dark Souls II looks set to be the one to get, running at a full 60fps and in 1080p if your machine can handle it. There’s still room for crippling bugs caused by a poor port, of course, but Bandai Namco has repeatedly assured customers that the PC version of Dark Souls II will arrive in much better shape than its predecessor.
Those who preorder Dark Souls II on Steam will also get downloads for the game’s soundtrack, an artbook, and a digital comic, alongside early in-game access to 10 weapons and shields.
