Rosebud Games is a new studio that have talented employees from a lot of different studios who have worked on a huge portfolio of games, including BioShock, The Witcher, and F.E.A.R.
Their first game, Death in Candlewood, is a first person shooter. But don’t despair just yet! We’re told it won’t be our average FPS – this is being sold as an open world psychological shooter that is set in 1940s America and will tell the story of love between the living and the dead.
Death in Candlewood boasts over 20 weapons, 6km² of mountain ranges, over 1,000 buildings, and citizens that will take part in randomized events. The game has actually been in development since 2011, and apparently the developers have been paying out of pocket to see their creation come to life.
