Two More Cast in Live-Action "Ghost Hunt"

Bloody Disgusting reports that French 24-year-old model Theo Gauchet and Death Tube‘s Sanae Tsukamoto are the latest two cast in the live-action movie adaptation of Kuyumi Oni's supernatural procedural Ghost Hunt light novels, which have previously been turned into manga, anime, and audio drama.

Yoshitaka Yamaguchi, formerly assistant director to Miike Takashi live-action anime adaptation Yatterman, will direct the movie.

Atsuyuki Shimoda (Sadako 3D) and Shotaro Oikawa are scripting the project with current cast set to include Akiko Maya Egami (aka Maya Fukuzawa) as Mai Taniyama, a high school student who becomes involved with the Shibuya Psychic Research after breaking one of their cameras. Haruma Miura (Bloody Monday) plays SPR's manager/lead investigator Kazuya Shibuya, dubbed "Naru" by Mai for his narcissistic (narushisuto) attitude.

Other cast includes Mizuki Yamamoto as young celebrity medium Masako Hara, and Yosuke Kawamura as 25-year-old monk Houshou Takigawa.

Filming is planned to be completed by spring for a summer 2014 release.

Del Rey released the manga adaptation in North America and FUNimation released the anime version.
