Pony Canyon’s official YouTube channel today posted a 45-second first promotional video for the upcoming magical comedy TV anime Majimoji Rurumo featuring the voice of Rurumo (Suzuko Mimori), her familiar spirit Chiro (Misato Fukuen), and Kouta Shibaki (Makoto Takahashi). Mimori also sings the OP song “Seiippai Tsutaetai!” (I want to tell with all my might!), and it will be released as her 4th single on August 6. The TV anime is based on the popular manga series of the same name created by Wataru Watanabe (Yowamushi Pedal), and will premiere on five Japanese stations on July 9.
The story of the TV anime centers on a witch-in-training Rurumo and a high school student Kouta Shibaki. In order to train Rurumo and to make his wishes, Kouta doesn’t hesitate to use the magic tickets. The amount of the tickets means, however, the length of his life. Each time she uses the magical power, his life is getting shorter. Finally, the day he has to use the last ticket comes….
