Following the end of the TV series this past March, the Buddy Complex website has announced that the anime will continue in the form of a two-part special that will pick up from the TV series. The two part special, known as Buddy Complex Finale: In The Future When We Return To Those Skies, will air this Fall. The Bandai Channel YouTube channel has also been updated with a teaser trailer for the new specials that includes the TV anime rebroadcast announcement, The staff and cast from the TV anime will also return.
