Following the May announcement that Daisuke Ashihara's Shounen Jump sci-fi action comedy World Trigger is set to be adapted into a TV anime series, a new listing has the anime slated for October.
North American publisher Viz describes the series:
Teenage geek Osamu may not be the best of the elite warriors protecting Earth from the invincible Neighbors, but he'll do whatever it takes to defend it from the monsters pouring through the mysterious inter dimensional portal! Together with his peculiar Neighbor friend Yuma, they'll use other-dimensional technology to take on the alien invaders!
There's no indication as to whether they'll repeat the roles in the anime, but a vomic (voice comic) featured the cast:

Osamu Mikumo - Ryota Osaka
Replica - Yuichi Iguchi
Yuichi Jin - Toshiki Masuda
