"Dragon Quest II" Hits iOS and Android in Japan on June 26

Square Enix is jumping around to various entries of the Dragon Quest series, gradually bringing them all to iOS and Android devices. Next up is the second Famicom game, Dragon Quest II, which originally hit shelves in Japan back in 1987 before coming to the west as Dragon Warrior II in 1990.

 

Based on the 1993 Super Famicom remake, Dragon Quest II hits iOS and Android in Japan on June 26, and will be released through the Dragon Quest Portal App for ¥500 ($5). Now let's take a moment to admire Akira Toriyama's DQII box art.
