The official Twitter account for the upcoming summer TV anime Bakumatsu Rock has posted its new key visual featuring the seven main characters. Itsuro Kawasaki (Sengoku BASARA, Lady Jewelpet) directs the anime adaptation of the PSP adventure/rhythm game of the same name released by Marvelous AQL on February 27, 2014, for Studio Deen (Meganebu!, Sakura Trick, pupa).
The anime official site also announced that a special concert featuring the five main voice actors: Kisho Taniyama (Ryoma Sakamoto), Tatsuhisa Suzuki (Shinsaku Takasugi), Shotaro Morikubo (Kogoro Katsura), Toshiyuki Morikawa (Toshizou Hijikata), and Kensho Ono (Soushi Okita), will be held at Zepp Tokyo on November 2. The five sing the ED theme song for the anime, “Zeccho Daybreak” as a unit named Ultra Souls. The advance entry ticket for the concert will be bundled with the first volume of the Blu-ray/DVD to be released on August 27.
