Yui Horie's "Important Announcements" are 9th Album and Concerts in 2015

As reported, popular anime voice actress Yui Horie held a press conference for "important announcements" on Nico Nico Nama Housou's live-broadcasting program "Washi-Sta ~Igai to Omoshiroi Bangumi~" yesterday on May 20. She announced that her next/9th original album (title undecided) will be released on January 9, 2015. Her last/8th album "Himitsu" (Secret) was released on February 22, 2012 and took a very good 3rd place in the Oricon weekly album ranking in its first week.

 

Two months after the release of the 9th album, she will hold a big two-day concert titled "The Adventure over Yui Horie V: Targeted School Festival" at Yoyogi National Gymnasium's 1st Gymnasium (capacity: 13,245) on March 7 and 8. The concert is set in a fictional Echo Girls High School, and Horie, who will be 39 years old next year, wore the uniform of the school at the press conference.

 

Some of her fans had speculated if the announcement was for her retirement from professional career,

or even for her marriage. Lucky for them, she answered to a reporter, "I have no plan for marriage. Even

if I do, I wouldn't announce it in an occasion like this."
