Cute girls return to the mountains this summer with a second anime shorts adaptation of Encouragement of Climb. Watch out Mount Fuji because Comic Earth Star has posted a preview of the second season.
Yuka Iguchi (Yukimura Aoi), Kana Asumi (Hinata Kuraue), Yui Ogura (Kokona Aoba), and Yoko Hikasa(Kaede Saito). While the 1st season, which was aired from January to March 2013, had 12 episodes of 5-minute long, the 2nd season will have two cours (probably 26) episodes and one episode is 15-minute long.
The official site for 18-year-old popular anime voice actress Yui Ogura announced earlier in the month that she will sing “Tinkling Smile,” the ED theme.
The manga has been running in EARTH STAR’S monthly manga magazine Comic Earth Star since August 2011 and so far five tankobon volumes have been published in Japan. The story centers on two childhood friends, Aoi and Hinata. Aoi is an in-doors type of person and also has a terror of heights. On the contrary, Hinata is an out-doors type and loves mountaineering. They decide to try mountaineering to see the sunrise they saw together in their childhood from the mountain top.
