Lantis has posted a 2-minute video for “Starting up,” the image song for Taishi Miyake‘s road bike-themed manga Long Riders!, written/composed by rino and sung by Choucho. The two previously worked for the TV anime Girls und Panzer‘s OP theme “DreamRiser.”
The manga has been serialized in Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Rex and now three tankobon volumes (including volume 0 which tells the prequel story) are available in Japan. The story centers on a first year university student girl Ami Kurata. One day she fells in love with a folding bike she saw in front of the station. She withdraws all of her savings from the bank, then goes to a bicycle shop to buy the same one. But the price is much beyond her expectation….
The limited edition of the upcoming third tankobon comes with a drama CD containing 14 episodes voiced
by Nao Touyama, Hiromi Igarashi, Rumi Ohkubo, Yurika Kurosawa, and Yoko Hikasa. The volume is
scheduled to be released in Japan on July 26.
