Kyoto Animation’s official YouTube channel has posted a three-minute long promotional video for the currently-showing film Tamako Love Story, the sequel to the company’s 12-episode TV anime in 2013, Tamako Market. The film, also directed by the TV anime’s Naoko Yamada (K-ON! TV series and film), opened at 24 theaters on April 26 and ranked in a 11th place in the overall Japanese weekend box office in its first weekend (eiga.com). It has also taken the top spot in two weeks in a row in the mini theater ranking reported by Cinema Ranking Tsushin. It seems the film has been doing a very good job at box office.
