Plans for the July adaptation of Sui Ishida's 2011 Young Jump suspense manga Tokyo Ghoul have been updated with Yuichi Nakamura, Toshiyuki Toyonaga, Shintarō Asanuma and Takahiro Sakurai joining the supporting voice cast.

Uta - Takahiro Sakurai
They join Natsuki Hanae and Sora Amamiya, who star as leads Ken Kaneki and Toka Kirishima, along with Hanazawa Kana, Mamoru Miyano, Takayuki Sugou, Sumire Morohoshi, and Katsuyuki Konishi.
Shuhei Morita (Freedom, Possessions) directs with playwright/stage director Chuji Mikasano writing, and Kazuhiro Miwa (Heroman, Gosick) as animation director/character designer. Pierrot produces the project.
