The June issue of Young Animal Arashi, released on Friday, has announced the cast and staff on the upcoming three volume Futari Ecchi OVA. Yuichi Nakamura voices the newlywed husband in the adaptation of Katsu Aki's manga.
Chiwa Saito is his 20 year old university student sister-in-law Rika Kawada. Akira Harashima is neighbor Rui Tsutsumi. Iori Nomizu is secretary at his office, Miyuki Kikuchi. Sarah Emi Bridcutt narrates. The voice actress from Makoto's wife, Yura Onoda, will be announced later.
Veteran Tetsura Amino (Shiki and a lot of mecha, including Macross 7) will direct the Reed production with Toshihide Masudate on character design and Kazuki Yamanobe writing.
An episode entitled "Futari no First Christmas" launches the series this fall.
The series, which Tokyopop released in North America as Manga Sutra, follows a newlywed couple as they learn about intimate matters. It was adapted into a four-volume OVA by Chaos Project in 2002, which Media Blasters released as Step Up Love Story. It was also adapted into a live-action mini series for pay-per-view channel WOWOW in 2000, then a web series and live-action film series in 2011.
