Destiny’s reported costs come in at a whopping $500 million over the lifetime of the product. This figure includes “marketing, packaging, infrastructure support, royalties and other costs”.
The figures were reported by Reuters, and come from Bobby Kotick, the CEO of Activision, at the Milken Conference in Los Angeles.
Kotick previously mentioned that he expects Destiny to be the publisher’s “next billion dollar franchise”.
